Person-Centered - I use a non-authoritative approach. I believe you are the expert about your own experiences and needs, and my role is to guide and support your process of self-discovery, helping you gain confidence and a stronger sense of identity.

Psychodynamic - I invite in-depth exploration of the experiences that have shaped you. Often this includes early childhood experiences and your family’s dynamics.

Trauma Informed - I recognize that you may have experienced traumas in your life, overwhelming experiences that continue to affect you. I seek to provide you a safe, trustworthy space. I stay aware of your individual cultural, historical, and gender identities. I offer collaboration to help you gain empowerment and share your voice.

Emotion-Focused - I believe that our emotions are important signals about our needs. I support you in identifying and feeling your feelings as a way of processing challenging experiences and developing authenticity and connection in your relationships.

Somatic-Focused - Our mind/body connection can be a powerful tool for self-discovery. I pay attention to your physical signals and invite you to notice any physical responses you may have as you talk about your challenges. We may incorporate deep breathing, relaxation techniques, or guided meditation, harnessing your body’s powerful instincts for healing.
